About polypropylene filter cloth and vinylon filter cloth, the former is also divided into polypropylene short fiber filter cloth and polypropylene long fiber filter cloth. Among them, the industrial cloth made of polypropylene staple fiber, with wool on the cloth surface, has better effect of powder filtration and pressure filtration than that of long fiber. The industrial cloth made of long polypropylene fiber has smooth surface and good air permeability. The chemical name of the latter is polyvinyl alcohol. Its strength is lower than that of polyester, and its elasticity and fabric retention are also relatively poor. However, its biggest advantage is that it can withstand the action of strong alkali, and has good hygroscopicity, and is easy to combine with rubber, which is a good material for rubber industry. Therefore, we can have a proper understanding of these commonly used filter press cloth.
